GUIDE / WEB STORE EXAMPLES

12 mobile game web stores, and what each does well

Real web stores from top-grossing mobile games, with the publisher, who runs the storefront, what the page itself reveals, and one thing worth copying from each: Supercell, Scopely, Moon Active, Century Games, Last War, Pokémon GO, Marvel Contest of Champions, Hero Wars, Empires & Puzzles, 8 Ball Pool, PUBG Mobile. One public source per row.

Updated

The fastest way to design a web store is to look at twelve that already make money. These are from our Mobile Game Web Store Index (64 top-grossing games, one public source per row, re-checked). For each: who publishes the game, who runs the storefront as far as the page itself shows, and one thing worth copying. Checked October 25, 2026 unless noted.

In-house stores

1. Supercell Store (Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, Hay Day) · store.supercell.com · in-house One store for the whole portfolio, on the publisher's own domain. Supercell says there is only one official Supercell Store (June 27, 2025), a statement it needed because fake stores appeared, which tells you how much players want this. The page's HTML references several payment partners (Xsolla billing support, Paddle, FastSpring, Adyen), so "in-house" here means the storefront, with payments mixed behind it. Copy this: one store per publisher is fine when the games share a brand; each game still gets its own section.

2. Marvel Strike Force and 3. Star Trek Fleet Command (Scopely) · marvelstrikeforce.com/en/store and home.startrekfleetcommand.com/store · in-house (Scopely's own platform, per a Stash blog post of December 6, 2024) Both stores sit under the game's own domain, not a store subdomain, which makes "is this really my game's store?" a non-question. Single-page apps with no vendor domain in the HTML. Copy this: the store lives at the game's address.

4. Coin Master Rewards Center (Moon Active) · shop.coinmaster.com · in-house Titled "Coin Master Rewards", with "deals & perks" rather than "buy coins": the store is framed as a rewards hub with loyalty terms, assets on Moon Active's own CDN. Its JS lists several payment methods and providers, so the checkout layer is modular. Copy this: frame the web store as rewards, not as a cheaper till.

5. Last War: Survival (FirstFun) · store.lastwar.com · in-house Announced on the game's official X account as "the official Gold Brick store", with the store calling the publisher's own payment servlets (Adyen, PayPal, PayerMax, Stripe in the JS), so the storefront and the orchestration are the publisher's. Copy this: announce the store from the game's own channels and name it as official, every time.

6. Whiteout Survival and 7. Kingshot (Century Games) · store.centurygames.com/wos and /kingshot · in-house One publisher storefront, a path per game, selling a web currency ("Kingdom Stars" on Kingshot); a payment-orchestration SDK in the page rather than a web-shop vendor. The official game sites don't link the store in their static HTML, which means most of its traffic comes from in-game and community links. Copy this: a publisher storefront can host each game at its own path with its own look.

Vendor-run stores

8. Pokémon GO Web Store (Niantic, now Scopely) · store.pokemongolive.com → store.pokemongo.com · Xsolla The page states that Xsolla is an authorized global distributor of Niantic digital goods, and its config also carries Scopely's platform block (after the 2025 acquisition), so a migration may be in progress. The store is tied to events: ticket buyers on the web got an exclusive avatar item for GO Fest 2024. Copy this: web-only items for events give players a reason to use the web store that isn't a discount.

9. Marvel Contest of Champions: Summoner's Market (Kabam) · store.playcontestofchampions.com · Appcharge The store's JS references Appcharge's checkout and also an Xsolla payment path and loyalty points, so the publisher keeps more than one provider behind one storefront. Copy this: keep the storefront yours even when the checkout is a vendor's, so a provider switch is a configuration change.

10. Hero Wars Hub (Nexters) · hwa.nexters.com · Aghanim A "hub" rather than a shop: cart, loyalty and a store bonus, with the vendor's copyright and refund policy in the page. Copy this: a loyalty element on the store page itself, next to the packs.

11. Empires & Puzzles (Small Giant / Zynga, Take-Two) · empiresandpuzzles.com · Xsolla checkout under a Take-Two storefront The official site's homepage is the store ("Webstore Bonus", "better value" in the copy), with the checkout host set to Xsolla in the page config. Copy this: put the store on the home page if the site has no other job.

Official resellers (listed by the publisher, not the game's own storefront)

12. 8 Ball Pool on Codashop (Miniclip) · codashop.com/en-us/8-ball-pool · Coda A partnership announced November 4, 2021 to sell 8 Ball Pool currency through Codashop in 40+ territories. It's an official reseller page, not a Miniclip-branded store; the same pattern applies to PUBG Mobile on Midasbuy (Tencent's own reseller, linked from the official site). Copy this, carefully: a reseller gets you local payment methods in markets you don't cover; it doesn't give you the player relationship.

What the twelve have in common

Those four are the brief for any new store. The launch guide and the conversion checklist take it from there, and the Index has the other 28 stores with their sources.

Create your store free: your domain, your game's look, signed-in players, bonuses and promo codes from the Studio. No card needed to start; 3.9% per successful payment.

Frequently asked questions

Which mobile games have web stores?

Most of the top grossers. Our index of 64 top-grossing mobile games found 40 with an official web store, 27 of them built in-house (Supercell, Scopely, Moon Active, Century Games and others), the rest on vendors such as Appcharge, Coda, Midasbuy, Xsolla, Aghanim and Stash.

How do you know who runs a store?

From the store page itself and public statements: the vendor's domain, SDK or copyright in the page's HTML, a publisher announcement, or a vendor case study. Each row names its source and the date we checked it. Where the HTML shows several payment partners, we say so rather than guess.

What do the best web stores have in common?

Their own domain, the game's look, a reason to buy on the web (a bonus or web-only pack), and a sign-in that doesn't ask for a password the player never set. The rest is live ops.

Is a reseller like Codashop or Midasbuy a web store?

It's an official place to buy, listed by the publisher, but it isn't the game's own storefront. We mark those rows as resellers.

Can a smaller studio have a store like these?

Yes. The in-house stores above took engineering teams; a self-serve builder gives a studio the same shape (own domain, game look, signed-in players, bonuses) in an afternoon.
