Last updated: 2026-10-31. These terms govern the use of Appside Studio, the Appside APIs, SDKs and MCP servers, and stores built with them ("the Service"), by publishers and developers. Players buying from a store are bound by that publisher's own store terms.
1. The Service
Appside lets a publisher build and run a web store for its game or app, accept payments through a checkout provided with the Service, and deliver purchased items to its game through signed webhooks. The Service is operated by Oded Kovach ("Appside", "we"). Contact: privacy@appside.build.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate details, keep your credentials safe and be responsible for activity under your account and your team. You must have authority to bind the business you register for. We may suspend accounts that put players, payments or the Service at risk.
3. Fees
Appside charges 3.9% of each successful payment made through your store. There is no setup fee, subscription or minimum. Payment-method, currency-conversion and other third-party costs, if any, are shown in Studio or in your payment terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing fees.
4. Your store, your products and your players
- You are the seller of the items and currencies offered in your store. You set prices and content, and you deliver purchased items to your players' accounts.
- You are responsible for taxes on your sales, your consumer terms, refund policy and privacy notice towards your players, and for complying with app store rules, consumer protection, gambling and loot-box rules and other laws that apply to your game.
- You must implement fulfilment so that each order is granted once and refunds are handled as your game's policy requires.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider, including fraud screening and 3-D Secure where required. You agree to the provider's terms that apply to your store, including onboarding and identity checks before payouts.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to sell illegal goods, offer real-money gambling or cash-out of virtual currency, infringe others' rights, mislead players, attack or overload the Service, or bypass its security, rate limits or verification. Catalog listings must be for apps you control.
7. AI features
The store builder, translation drafts and Dex produce suggestions. You review and approve every product, price and published change; you are responsible for what you publish.
8. Content and intellectual property
You keep all rights to your content, game assets and data. You give Appside the licence needed to host, display and process them to provide the Service. Appside keeps all rights to the Service, its software and its brand.
9. Data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For your players' data we act on your behalf; on request we will sign a data processing agreement.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and may change, add or remove features. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you rely on.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms. After termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it, except records we must keep by law.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Appside's total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid Appside in that period. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Appside against claims arising from your store, your products, your players' purchases or your breach of these terms or the law.
14. Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes take effect 30 days after notice to publishers.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law where you are established says otherwise.
