The store knows your player

One read-only endpoint on your backend lets the web store show the player's name, balance and level, signed and cached.

How it works

  1. Add one endpointReturn name, balance and level for the signed-in player.
  2. Appside calls it signedRequests are signed and cached briefly; nothing is written back.
  3. Players see their worldBalance and level beside the packs, refreshed after each purchase.

What you get

Read-only by design

The store never changes a balance; your game does, on signed events.

Signed requests

Your endpoint can verify every call came from Appside.

Short cache

Fast pages without hammering your backend.

Refresh after purchase

The new balance shows once your game confirms delivery.

Questions

Is this required?

No. Stores work without it; it makes the store feel like the game.

What if my endpoint is down?

The store still sells; it simply hides the balance.
